Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - 2018 Rose Review

Wine of the Week: Chateau Ste. Michelle Rosé

The Chateau St. Michelle 2018 Rosé is my new favourite wine for autumn. Trust me when I say to get yourself a bottle now while you can! There are limited quantities left at LCBO stores across the province. I picked up a bottle of the Chateau St. Michelle 2018 Rosé at random a couple weeks ago when I was drawn to the beautiful label. I then learned that Chateau St. Michelle is one of the oldest wineries in Washington state. The elegance of this Rosé definitely demonstrates the winery’s aged expertise! To start, the colour of the Chateau St. Michelle Rosé is the most beautiful shade of pink. Made from Syrah and Merlot grapes, this elegant style wine is medium-bodied and extra dry. You’ll find bright flavours of rhubarb, red apple and strawberry with a touch of herbs and rose petal. The flavours are full but with a soft delicateness that I LOVE in a Rosé! Pair the Chateau Ste. Michelle Rosé with pork, light pasta dishes or fall cheeseboards. Pick up a bottle of the Chateau Ste. Michelle Rosé for $18.95 at the LCBO and kick-off the autumn season with a beautiful wine!
