I’m not a whiskey drinker, but when the Spicebox Pumpkin Whiskey comes out each October a run to the LCBO to stock up! The wonderful fall flavours of nutmeg, vanilla and pumpkin pie make this whiskey really smooth and warm. While I can drink it on it’s own, the Spicebox Pumpkin Whiskey is even better in a Dark and Stormy cocktail. A Dark and Stormy cocktail is typically made of spiced rum, ginger beer and lime. Replace that spiced rum with the Spicebox Pumpkin Whiskey and you’ve got yourself the perfect fall cocktail!
1 ounce Spicebox Pumpkin Whiskey
3 ounces Ginger Beer (I prefer the Great Jamaican Ginger Beer Co.)
1 lime wedge
Add ice, Whiskey, ginger beer and squeeze of lime to a glass. If you’re using a larger glass, as I did here, just double the recipe. Simple and easy!
